Three Singapore-registered companies say they will comply with NEA's haze notices

Several Singapore-registered companies, including Asia Pulp & Paper and Wilmar International, have agreed to comply with information requests from the National Environment Agency regarding transboundary haze pollution. This marks the first time the agency has utilized the Transboundary Haze Pollution Act to demand documentation from firms.
Why it matters
This enforcement action represents a significant step in regional environmental accountability and the regulation of corporate responsibility for air quality.
