To ensure seamless coordination and robust safety arrangements for the upcoming consecration ceremony at Sri Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple, the Tamil Nadu government has appointed three senior IAS officers as Special Duty Officers.

According to the order issued by the government on Saturday, the appointed officials were Labour Welfare and Skill Development Secretary K. Veera Raghava Rao, Municipal Administration Director P. Madhusudan Reddy, and Employment and Training Director C. Palani.

The officers will camp in Madurai from September 15 to September 17. They will oversee the inter-departmental coordination and monitor all preparatory and infrastructural works on the ground, said a press statement.
