Three persons held for stealing gold ornaments near Arani
Three individuals were arrested for the theft of 12 sovereigns of gold jewellery from a residence in Sevur village, India. The suspects, who have extensive criminal records, were apprehended following a police investigation.

Three persons were arrested on Thursday for stealing 12 sovereigns of gold jewellery from the house of a retired teacher at Sevur village near Arani town.
The arrested persons were identified as Kevin Moses, 34, Murugan, 27, and Vignesh, 26, all residents of Tirupattur district. They have more than 40 cases against them in various police stations.
Initial inquiry revealed that the victim, S. Kalidass, and his family went to their native village in Tiruvannamalai to attend a temple festival on July 6. On his return, he found the main door of the house damaged, and valuables, including gold jewellery, missing from the cupboard.
