Three people were injured in a shooting outside a bar in Fort Smith, N.W.T., during a local music festival. RCMP have arrested two persons of interest and are investigating the incident as a targeted attack.

"The RCMP have arrested two persons of interest, but it is too early in the investigation to say if they are linked to the incident or not," the RCMP told CBC News around 4 p.m. MT.
In an update before 4:30 p.m., police said people can resume normal activities and there is no direct threat to the community. The investigation is ongoing and people can expect to see an increased police presence.
Police said they were alerted at approximately 2:12 a.m. to shots fired outside a local business in the community of just over 2,000 people situated on the Slave River next to the Alberta border.
