Three more test positive for dengue from Pindi
Rawalpindi district has reported 12 confirmed cases of dengue fever, with an upward trend in infections over the last week. Health authorities have identified high concentrations of mosquito larvae in multiple union councils, prompting concerns about the spread of the disease.

Rawalpindi:As many as three more patients have tested positive for dengue fever from Rawalpindi district in the last four days taking the total number of confirmed patients so far registered from the district to 12.
Data collected by ‘The News’ on Monday has revealed that one patient from Mandra was tested positive for the infection on Monday while one from Pindora and another from Morgah were tested positive for dengue fever on Friday and Saturday respectively. On Monday, one dengue fever suspect was undergoing treatment at the hospital. Data reveals that of the 12 patients so far confirmed positive from the district, five have been reported in the last one week. It is worth mentioning here that the situation is becoming alarming as the incidence of the infection is showing a continuous upward trend for the last one week.
