Three persons riding triples on a motorcycle, were killed in a road accident at Sethiyathoppu on Thursday night.
The police identified the deceased as S. Subakannan, 19, S. Vinodh, 18 and S. Surya, 18, of Kavalakudi.
The trio was proceeding on a motorcycle to Kavalakudi when a cement-laden lorry rammed their two-wheeler. The three came under the rear wheels of the lorry and died on the spot.
