Three persons were killed on the spot on Sunday (September 13, 2026) morning when a speeding lorry rammed into an auto near S. Burjivalasa of Dattirajeru mandal of Vizianagaram district.

According to Sub Inspector S. Proyaga Murthy, rash and negligent driving of the lorry driver was the reason for the accident.

The deceased were identified as G. Tirupati (39), Terli Adinarayana (62) and G. Ramu (48).

Mr. Ramu was driving the auto, while the other two persons were travelling in it. The bodies were shifted to Ramabhadrapuram Hospital for postmortem.
