Three killed as government bus rams mini freight carrier

Three persons, including a woman, were killed and four others were injured in a road accident involving a mini freight carrier and a government bus on the Tiruchi - Madurai national highway at Thuvarankurichi in the district on Friday. Police gave the names of the deceased as Vadivel (40), Manjula (55) and Ravi (60) - all from Poolangudi near Tiruchi.
