According to prosecution, C. Guru of Melanaattarkulam was murdered in 2018 owing to prior enmity. The Seythunganallur police arrested M. Durai, 36, his younger brother M. Masillamani, 34, and G. Chelladurai, 54, all from the same area.
Additional Sessions Judge I Thandavam awarded life imprisonment to the trio and imposed the fine of Rs. 10,000 each on them on Tuesday.
