Three arrests after woman, 18, dies following crash

Three people have been arrested following a fatal car crash in Banbury, Oxfordshire, that resulted in the death of an 18-year-old woman. Police are currently investigating the incident and have appealed for witnesses or dashcam footage.

Three people have been arrested after an 18-year-old woman died following a crash, police have said.
Thames Valley Police said the crash involving a white Mercedes and a white Volkswagen Polo happened on Bloxham Road, close to the junction of Springfield Avenue in Banbury, Oxfordshire, at about 21:20 BST on Saturday.
The driver of the Volkswagen Polo was taken to hospital where she later died. Her family was being supported by specially trained offices, said the force.
The three arrested people were all from Banbury, it confirmed, and asked anyone with information about the crash to come forward.
A 36-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst disqualified, causing death by dangerous driving, and driving while over the specified drug and alcohol limits.
