Three arrested with ganja, prescription tablets near Coimbatore
Police in Coimbatore have arrested four individuals in separate incidents for the possession of ganja and prescription drugs. The suspects were apprehended during routine search operations and have been remanded in judicial custody.

The Anamalai police in Coimbatore district on Sunday arrested three persons on charge of possessing 2.25 kg of ganja and 250 tablets of prescription drug nitrazepam. P. Sundar (32), P. Soundarapandi (25) and T. Vijayaraja (26), all hailing from Madurai district, were arrested with the contraband during a search operation at Aathupalam near Anamalai. The police also seized a two-wheeler from them. The accused were produced before the jurisdictional court and remanded in judicial custody.
