Three arrested in Nairobi, 32 stolen phones recovered

Kenyan detectives have arrested three suspects in Nairobi following a cross-county investigation into a motor vehicle break-in. Authorities recovered 32 stolen phones and various equipment linked to the illegal sale of mobile devices.

According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the suspects identified as Michael Waweru, Wilson Wanjama and Samuel Kimani were cornered when detectives pursued leads all the way from Murang'a county.
"Acting on actionable intelligence, detectives from Murang’a East Sub-County, working alongside their counterparts from DCI Central Nairobi, today descended on the Nairobi Central Business District (CBD), where they arrested three suspects identified as Michael Waweru, Wilson Wanjama and Samuel Kimani," DCI said.
