The three accused were identified as Arun (27), Divakar (25), and Sanjay (26), residents of Khandal in Udhagamandalam.
According to police, the three men had picked a quarrel with five migrant workers who were on a bus traveling to Khandal from Udhagamandalam town a few days ago. They had allegedly demanded that the workers give up their seats, which led to a quarrel.
