On Friday, October 9, Latvia is expected to experience its first storm of the autumn, meteorologists forecast, according to LETA.
According to the latest forecasts, the wind will start to noticeably strengthen on Friday morning and will remain strong throughout the day. Gusts of south-western wind will reach 16–21 meters per second, and up to 28 meters per second on the coast. By Saturday night, the wind will gradually weaken.
