Multiply Labs, a robotics startup based in San Francisco, wants to solve that. The company, which builds robots for manufacturing complex drugs, announced on Tuesday that it raised $75 million in a Series B funding round, bringing its total funding to more than $100 million since its founding in 2016. The round was led by NantWorks, a holding company founded by billionaire Patrick Soon-Shiong . Other investors include AstraZeneca , a Multiply customer, Lux Capital , and Founders Fund . "Someone has to make the drugs," Multiply CEO Fred Parietti told Business Insider.
