A total of 194 school and college students participated in the Thirukkural-based speech, essay, and drawing competitions organised by Shriram Ilakkiya Kazhagam in Coimbatore recently.

Eighty-nine students participated in the elocution contest, 63 in drawing competition, and 42 in essay writing competition, taking the total participation to 194.
