THINK Gas to expand pipeline network in Kancheepuram, Chengalpattu

The gas distribution company, THINK Gas, said on Tuesday that it had completed laying of 500 km of pipeline network across Kancheepuram and Chengalpattu districts to supply natural gas. The company also aims to increase domestic piped natural gas (DPNG) connections from 10,125 households to 20,000 households by the year-end, said Thirukkumaran N.T., regional head- Kancheepuram GA, THINK Gas. Similarly, it will expand to 70 compressed natural gas stations from the present 52, benefiting over 30,000 vehicles and supporting the transition towards cleaner mobility solutions. PNG services are currently available across Sriperumbudur, Vallam, Kelambakkam, Padur, Navalur, Thalambur, Thaiyur, Egattur, Thiruporur, with network expansion under way in Tambaram, Mudichur, Sholinganallur, and Molachur, a press release said.
