The Witcher 4 Release Date Confirmed, Gamescom Songs of the Past Showcase Announced
CD Projekt Red has officially announced that The Witcher 4 is scheduled for release in 2028, while also preparing for a showcase of the Witcher 3 expansion, 'Songs of the Past', at Gamescom. The studio currently has over 500 developers working on the upcoming title.

Four years after first revealing the game, CD Projekt Red has finally announced a release date for The Witcher 4: 2028. The news comes from joint CEO Michał Nowakowski via Twitter, alongside an invitation to a Witcher 3: Songs of the Past showcase taking place tomorrow - as part of Opening Night Live at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany.
The CDPR announcement is two minutes in length, with Nowakowski promising a prominent presence in hall eight at the trade show, which opens for journalists and trade visitors from Wednesday and is open to the public from Thursday onwards.
