The Witcher 4 Release Date Confirmed, Gamescom Songs of the Past Showcase Announced

Four years after first revealing the game, CD Projekt Red has finally announced a release date for The Witcher 4: 2028. The news comes from joint CEO Michał Nowakowski via Twitter, alongside an invitation to a Witcher 3: Songs of the Past showcase taking place tomorrow - as part of Opening Night Live at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany.
The CDPR announcement is two minutes in length, with Nowakowski promising a prominent presence in hall eight at the trade show, which opens for journalists and trade visitors from Wednesday and is open to the public from Thursday onwards.
