The US is calling a meeting in Poland. Not all allies were included

The US Department of Defense is organizing a NATO policy meeting in Poland that excludes several key European allies, including France and the Baltic states. This move has sparked concern among European leaders regarding the future of American commitment to the alliance.
Why it matters
The exclusion of major allies from strategic planning sessions signals potential shifts in US foreign policy and could strain the unity of the NATO alliance.
In the coming weeks, the US Department of War will organise a working group meeting dedicated to further NATO policy. The event will be organised in Poland, but it will take place without representatives from several major alliance member states.
In the near future, Poland will host a meeting organised by US Under Secretary of Defence Elbridge Colby. According to information obtained by „Politico”, representatives from the United Kingdom, France, and the Baltic states have not been invited to the event.
