The Quad at Bengaluru airport getting bigger and better
The Quad, an airport food and beverage plaza at Kempegowda International Airport, is undergoing a major refurbishment to double its retail and dining capacity. Bangalore International Airport Limited plans to expand these concepts to Terminal-2 and the Multi-Modal Transport Hub to improve passenger amenities.

The Quad, a first-of-its-kind airport food and beverage (F&B) plaza in India, which was opened in 2019 at the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA), is being refurbished.
Situated in front of the airport’s Terminal-1 arrival area, The Quad is a popular destination not only for passengers but other visitors to the airport as well.
Apart from the F&B outlets and retail shops it also featured The Arena where live sports screenings and entertaining performances were held.
“The Quad is something we are very proud of. We started it as an experiment, a first-of-its-kind in the country and also one of the few of its kind around the world where arrival passengers and also non-travellers can use the facilities,” Pravat Paikray, Vice-president (Commercial), Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL), told The Hindu .
