The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation Receives Historic $100 Million Anonymous Donation to Advance Cancer Research and Care

The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation has announced a historic $100 million anonymous donation, the largest single gift in the Foundation’s history, to accelerate cancer research, innovation, and patient care at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto, Canada.

The landmark contribution was announced as part of the launch of Carry the Fire , a $2.5 billion fundraising campaign designed to support the next generation of cancer discoveries, expand access to innovative treatments, and enhance care for people living with and beyond cancer.

The anonymous donor, who has a personal connection to cancer, made the gift with the goal of advancing the mission of Princess Margaret Cancer Centre: to deliver world-leading cancer research, education, and patient-centered care while working toward a future where cancer can be prevented, detected earlier, and treated more effectively.
