The Open: Bryson DeChambeau penalised; Ryan Fox, Kazuma Kobori make cut, Daniel Hillier misses
Bryson DeChambeau received a two-stroke penalty at The Open Championship for unintentionally improving his lie by trampling grass. Despite the penalty, the tournament continues with Australian Lucas Herbert leading the field.

Ryan Fox and Kazuma Kobori will play in the weekend rounds of the Open Championship after the field was trimmed at the halfway point.
The Kiwi pair were sat relatively comfortably inside the two-over-par cut line, with Fox at even par and Kobori one-under after 36 holes at Royal Birkdale Golf Club in England.
Fellow Kiwi Daniel Hillier was unable to join them in the second half of the tournament, however. After a bogey, bogey finish led to him ending his first round two-over, he fell one shot short of the cut line with an even par second.
Australian Lucas Herbert held the lead at the halfway point after an eight-under second round moved him to the same score for the tournament and a two-shot lead over American trio Jackson Suber, Cameron Young and Ryan Gerard.
