Coming off a Friday in which he carded a record-tying 62 , Sam Burns went low again on Moving Day and made some more history with a 5-under 65 at Royal Birkdale. The 62-65 is the lowest score in consecutive rounds at any major championship.
Burns has a two-shot lead of Ryan Fox and Si Woo Kim entering Sunday’s final round. Fox held the clubhouse lead for a majority of Saturday after joining Burns on the historic 62 list .
The third round is in the books, with coverage set to pick back up early Sunday.
