The new Samsung SmartTag3 supports iOS, it's also smaller and its battery lasts longer

Samsung has released the SmartTag3, which features cross-platform support for both Android and iOS devices. The new model is smaller, offers a longer battery life, and includes improved detection range via Bluetooth 6.0.
Why it matters
The shift to cross-platform compatibility marks a significant change in the consumer tracking device market, increasing accessibility for non-Samsung users.
The Samsung SmartTag2 is three years old now and was due for an upgrade. This is the first generation that is cross-platform – it works with both Android and iOS devices. It’s also smaller and lighter, though that came at a cost. New wireless tech allowed Samsung to improve detection range and to extend battery life.
The Samsung SmartTag3 can now be used by iPhone owners – this makes it easier if you have Android and iOS devices in your family or if a friend or family member wants to borrow, say, a suitcase with a tag attached.
