"It is possible that this initiative will still be considered by this Saeima. There will still be regular Saeima sessions in September and October," said the politician.
He added that merely considering the collective statement would not be enough to make changes to the compensation system. According to Rokpelnis, amendments to the Saeima regulations will be required to implement the initiative.
