PETALING JAYA: Sitting opposite Kuala Lumpur’s historic Moorish-style railway station, a grand white building with a sweeping driveway has witnessed close to a century of the city’s history.
Opened in July 1932, The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur is a 94-year-old landmark with a remarkable connection to the making of Merdeka.
During a recent tour of the property, FMT Lifestyle spoke with Alvin Khoo, cluster general manager of YTL Hotels.
“The Majestic is strategically located next to the railway station, where travellers would interchange to the south or north. So many guests would stop and stay here," he said.
