The scientific temper and mathematical talent of school students came to the fore at the The Hindu in School Science Fest (Avishkar) and Math Olympiad 2026 (Ramanujam Spark Quest) organised in Mysuru on Friday.
More than 450 students from Classes 6 to 10 representing over 20 schools participated in the two events held at Leela Channaiah Kalyana Mantapa here. The events provided a platform for students to showcase their creativity, innovation and problem-solving skills and encouraged them to pursue careers in science and mathematics.
The Science Fest featured 42 teams from 20 schools, while the Ramanujam Spark Quest saw the participation of 325 students from 20 schools.
