It will be interesting to see whether this provides him with the freedom and confidence to still compete when Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner are back fit and healthy for 2027.
Zverev has said whether he thinks he is the best player in the world right now, but at this moment in time, the ATP rankings do not reflect it.
