This coming stretch of August marks Monterey Car Week, an annual excursion for Bugatti owners that is slowly being conquered by restomods. Builds based on air-cooled Porsche from companies like Singer, Gunther Werks, and RUF have long since been joined by cars with stranger origins, including cars that were originally less well-known for refinement. One brand, Eccentrica, has chosen to work with what might be one of the least refined cars ever built: the Lamborghini Diablo.Eccentrica unveiled its fixed-roof V-12 in 2024, and this year, the company is announcing a model based on the Diablo Roadster.
