Alpina has released the Seastrong Diver Extreme Automatic Route du Rhum, a limited-edition watch featuring a 39mm stainless steel case and a turquoise dial. The timepiece is powered by the AL-525 automatic movement and is limited to 313 pieces.

The 39mm stainless-steel case of the Alpina Seastrong Diver Extreme Automatic Route du Rhum measures 40.5mm lug to lug and 13.4mm thick. It gets a mix of brushed and polished surfaces, along with a bidirectional bezel that has a carbon-fibre insert, and this does look neat. The bezel gets a compass scale that is completed with four cardinal points and 360-degree markings, and it has a screw-down crown with a rubber grip and solid caseback for that solid dive watch performance at 300m.
