TGSRTC staff return bag containing ₹2 lakh cash, laptop to passenger

Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) staff at the Medchal depot won praise for their honesty after returning a passenger’s bag containing nearly ₹2 lakh in cash, an Apple laptop and other valuables.
The bag was found by conductor Govind during the return journey of a bus. After noticing that it had been left behind by a passenger, he informed depot assistant manager and Circle Inspector G. Ramarao.
The staff checked the contents and found around ₹2 lakh in cash, an Apple laptop, two purses, a charger, clothes and an office identity card. They then used a contact number found inside the bag to trace its owner, identified as Prashanth.
