Ten wild boars, including four piglets, were rescued after they fell into an open well at a private farm near Kottur in the Anamalai Tiger Reserve (ATR) on Monday evening.
According to the Forest Department, frontline staff on patrol in the Villoni beat under the Kottur section of the Pollachi Forest Range received information around 5 p.m. that a sounder of wild boars had fallen into a well in the farm of Sivaraj at Kottur.
