Ten persons injured as speeding private bus hits container truck near Sattur

Ten persons, including driver Ramasamy, of a private bus suffered injuries when the speeding vehicle rammed against a container truck on Kovilpatti-Sattur highway on Thursday evening.
While six persons were treated as outpatients in Sattur Government hospital, three have been admitted there and one M. Mariammal (52) of Vachchakarapatti has been referred to Virudhunagar Government Medical College hospital for head injuries.
The police said that the speeding bus hit from behind the container truck near the Sai Baba Temple under Sattur Taluk police station limits at around 5 p.m.
