TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Media company Tempo took part in Bangkok Climate Action Week 2026 (BKKCAW), hosting a series of panel discussions at Chulalongkorn University on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. The panels were among more than 300 events scheduled across the regional climate gathering, which opened last Saturday and runs through next Monday, October 3–11.For the event, Tempo collaborated with Chulalongkorn University's Knowledge Hub for Regional Anti-corruption and Good Governance Collaboration (KRAC). It also partnered with civil society organizations Trend Asia, Auriga Nusantara, and Celios.Featured speakers included Torplus Yomnak, an associate professor at Chulalongkorn University's Faculty of Economics. He opened the session with a presentation urging Southeast Asia to rethink traditional notions of development and prosperity amid the worsening climate and ecological crisis.Key speakers also featured Xiaoting Hou-Jones from the Doughnut Economics Action Lab (DEAL).
