Telugu writer Viswanatha’s works embody Indian culture, says Malladi Vishnu

YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) Vijayawada Central constituency in-charge and former MLA Malladi Vishnu on Thursday described the works of Kavisamrat Viswanatha Satyanarayana as a reflection of Indian culture, traditions and the values of the joint family system.
Paying floral tributes to the statue of Viswanatha Satyanarayana at Lenin Centre on the occasion of the writer’s birth anniversary, Mr. Vishnu said it was a matter of pride for Telugu people that a resident of Vijayawada had attained such a stature in literature.
Viswanatha Satyanarayana produced celebrated works such as Veyipadagalu and Ramayana Kalpavruksham and was honoured with the Jnanpith and Padma Bhushan awards.
