Why it matters
The initiative reflects a strategic shift toward resource mobilization and private-public partnerships to strengthen the state's fiscal health.
Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Saturday directed officials to prepare a comprehensive action plan to enhance government revenue by effectively utilising the state’s available resources, with a special focus on attracting investments and increasing the value of government assets.
He emphasized the need to implement the HILT Policy effectively and develop tourism as a major revenue-generating sector.
