Telangana sanctions ₹13 crore tourism project for Mattapalli temple, boating facility planned
The Telangana government has approved a ₹13 crore tourism project for the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in Mattapalli. The project includes infrastructure development and the introduction of boating facilities on the Krishna River.

The Telangana government has accorded administrative sanction of ₹13 crore for the development of tourist facilities and a boating activity at the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in Mattapalli, Huzurnagar constituency of Suryapet district. The approval was granted through an order issued by Special Chief Secretary A. Vani Prasad.
According to the order, the Telangana Tourism Development Corporation (TGTDC) informed the government that, following a request from the Minister for Irrigation, Civil Supplies and other departments, its engineering team inspected the temple site and prepared estimates amounting to ₹13 crore for the proposed tourism development works.
