Telangana man on Kailash–Manasarovar Yatra safe; officials follow up details of 22 more
Telangana officials are tracking the safety of citizens currently in the Nepal-Tibet border region following devastating flash floods. One person has been confirmed safe, while authorities continue to coordinate with families to locate 22 others.

Information about six people from Telangana was received through the helpline numbers set up by the State government after devastating flash floods at Nepal-Tibet border. Besides, officials have also verified information about 17 NRIs of Telangana origin.
A person from Rangareddy district, who had travelled for Kailash–Manasarovar Yatra, has now been confirmed safe and has established contact with his family, as per a press release issued on Thursday.
Officials said they continued to follow-up on details of the remaining 22 persons in coordination with the authorities concerned.
As per the press release, several of the persons concerned were travelling in the Nepal–Tibet region, including those proceeding towards or returning from the Manasarovar Yatra. Their last known locations include areas around Rasuwa, Rasuwagadhi and Gyirong on the Nepal–Tibet border.
