The State government has approved the setting up of a National Academy of Construction (NAC) Skill Development Centre in Manthani of Peddapalli district and sanctioned ₹20 crore for the construction of the centre’s building.
The NAC Skill Development Centre is expected to play a significant role in creating a highly skilled workforce to meet the evolving demands of the construction industry. It will provide skill training of international standards, equipping youth with the latest technologies and modern construction practices.
The centre will offer both short-term and long-term training programmes, enabling trainees to pursue self-employment opportunities as well as secure placements in leading national and international companies, the office of IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu said on Friday.
