Telangana Congress showcases its might in Delhi rally with massive participation

HYDERABAD The Telangana Congress mobilised more than 15,000 leaders, party workers and supporters for the ‘Vote Bachao – Desh Bachao’ public meeting organised by the Congress-led INDIA Bloc in New Delhi, showcasing its organisational strength and coordination. The mobilisation, undertaken with the support of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and under the leadership of TPCC president and MLC B. Mahesh Kumar Goud, saw party cadres from various districts travel to the national capital despite logistical challenges. The party faced a last-minute setback after railway authorities reportedly declined permission for special trains to transport the participants. However, the Congress leadership made alternative arrangements, deploying more than 100 buses and utilising cars, other private vehicles, regular train services and flights to ensure the participation of a large contingent from Telangana. The TPCC made elaborate arrangements for the accommodation and other requirements of the visiting leaders and workers.
