Telangana CM lays foundation stone for Amazon Web Services’ data centre, wants global giant to invest ₹1 lakh crore
Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy laid the foundation stone for an Amazon Web Services data center in Hyderabad. He expressed a desire for Amazon to increase its investment to ₹1 lakh crore to help the state reach its economic growth targets.

Inviting industry majors to invest is Telangana, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has asserted that his Government is firm on promoting the State as a model of development for the country as well as to the world in the coming days.
The government has launched the Telangana Rising 2047 policy along with exclusive policies for different sectors like health and education in this direction. The policies are yielding results attracting global majors to make investments in the State. “Policy paralysis and pick and chose method of granting permissions, incentives and others will not benefit the State. We have therefore come up with sector specific policies to ease the difficulties of investors,” he said.
