Telangana BJP demands judicial probe into 22A irregularities

The BJP State unit on Saturday demanded a judicial inquiry by a sitting High Court judge into alleged irregularities in the inclusion of private and agricultural lands in the prohibited properties list under Section 22A of the Registration Act.
The demand was made at a ‘Maha Dharna on Bhu Bharathi and Section 22A’ organised by the BJP at Dharna Chowk near Indira Park here. The protest was led by BJP Legislature Party leader Alleti Maheshwar Reddy and attended by senior party leaders, including Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy.
