Tejashwi targets Centre, says ‘no money for flood-hit, but lamps for PM’s birthday’

PRIYANKA JAISWALNEW DELHI: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav on Wednesday hit out at the Centre over the flood situation in Bihar, alleging that the government had no money for flood-affected people but was ready to spend on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday celebrations."Govt has no money for the flood-affected people but they are ready to spend for PM's birthday by lighting lamps," Yadav said.His remarks came amid the ongoing flood situation in parts of Bihar affecting nearly 50 lakh people across 15 districts of the state.
