Share A A A A 17-year-old boy is recovering in hospital after allegedly being stabbed in the head and back in Newtown on Saturday morning.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of King Street and Camden Street in Newtown about 12.30am, with reports that a teenager had been assaulted by a group of people who then left.
Paramedics treated the boy for “multiple stab wounds to his head and back,” NSW Police said. He was later taken to hospital and is in a stable condition.
