Police have identified a 15-year-old as a suspect wanted for second-degree murder after a 16-year-old and an 18-year-old died in a shooting in Hamilton earlier this week. Hamilton Police said the shots rang out at a home at Candlewood Drive at around 2:25 a.m., near Rymal Road East and Upper Centennial Parkway. When police arrived, they identified the victims a 18-year-old Abdulmalek Shibli and 16-year-old Afef Binafif. They said they were found with gunshot wounds outside of the home, and subsequently died at the hospital. Det.-Sgt. Mike Ebert said earlier this week that at least six people attended the area when “an exchange of gunfire occurred.” According to Ebert, one of the individuals involved in the exchange of gunfire was also part of a bear spray attack that took place at a home near Barton Street East and Centennial Parkway North at around midnight.
