A 15-year-old boy has been charged after a 17-year-old girl was allegedly abducted outside a high school in southeast Melbourne. The girl was walking into Keysborough Secondary College’s Banksia Campus on Janine Rd in Springvale South about 8.30am on Friday when she was allegedly approached by the boy. Police allege he forced her into a vehicle before driving away. The pair are believed to be known to each other. The boy was arrested on Jezebel Way in Tarneit about 12pm, while the girl was taken to hospital. He has since been charged with abduction and was scheduled to appear before a children’s court on Saturday. The Department of Education told 7NEWS.com.au it was aware of the incident. “Wellbeing supports were provided to the family and any others within the school community that may have required them,” a spokesperson said. The alleged incident occurred just hours before Victorian school holidays began.
