Police say officers were patrolling the Villawood area last night when they found a ute doing burnouts in a car park.
Officers arrested the 17-year-old boy and say they found two firearms, one allegedly in his pants, two knives and a set of stolen number plates.
The boy is due to face court today on firearms and driving offences in Sydney's west.
