TECNO has officially launched the POVA 8 Pro 5G in India, adding a new gaming-focused model to its POVA smartphone lineup. The phone arrives with a combination of high-refresh-rate display technology, a MediaTek Dimensity chipset, a large battery, and a distinctive secondary lighting display on the rear.
The India launch follows TECNO’s earlier confirmation of the device’s design and core specifications. The company has now listed the POVA 8 Pro 5G with its complete hardware and feature set, while the smartphone is set to be sold in India through Flipkart.
The POVA 8 Pro 5G comes with a 6.78-inch HyperLux AMOLED display featuring a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel supports up to 4500 nits peak brightness, 1600 nits HBM, and a 2800Hz instant touch sampling rate. It also uses Corning Gorilla Glass 7i for protection.
