Addressing an Engineers’ Day programme at Siddhartha Deemed University, Kanuru, on Tuesday to mark the 165th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, Mr. Srinivas stressed the importance of technical education, innovation and emerging technologies in the development of the nation.

Siddhartha Academy president Mallineni Rajayya and secretary Paladugu Lakshmana Rao urged students to make effective use of technological advancements and strive for excellence.

Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering Narra Ravi Kumar said technology was advancing rapidly and called upon students to actively participate in technical activities and keep abreast of emerging technologies.
