DHAKA: Bangladesh's electricity supply Friday came under further strain, intensifying load shedding, after a technical "glitch" shut down one of the two units at Adani Power's 1,600 MW Jharkhand-based Godda thermal plant.The setback came amid the nation's struggle to generate enough electricity to meet demand due to shortages of coal, gas and oil, despite having 136 power plants.
